Where will I meet my driver at the cruise port?
Your private driver will be waiting for you directly at the pier, right under your ship. You will easily recognize him as he will be holding a sign with your name on it, ensuring a seamless and immediate start to your tour without the need for shuttles.
What happens if my ship arrives late or changes its schedule?
We monitor all ship arrivals in real time. If your cruise ship is delayed or its docking time changes, we automatically adjust our pick up schedule to ensure your private driver is there when you disembark. Your tour time will be optimized to make sure you still experience the best of your destination.
Do you guarantee a timely return to the ship?
Yes, providing a worry free experience is our priority. We carefully manage the itinerary and timing of every shore excursion to ensure you return to the pier with plenty of time before your ships scheduled departure. We have never had a guest miss their ship in all our years of service.
How can I pay for my private tour or transfer?
We offer flexible payment options for your convenience. You can pay your driver directly in cash (Euros) at the end of the service. Alternatively, we can arrange a secure credit card payment in advance via a digital link. Please let us know your preferred method during the booking process so we can provide all the necessary details.
What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. Cancellations made at least 1 week before the scheduled service are free of charge. For cancellations made within 1 week of the service, a cancellation fee may apply depending on the specific tour. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel your reservation.
Are there any hidden costs in the quoted price?
Transparency is very important to us. Our quoted prices include the private vehicle, a professional English speaking driver, fuel, highway tolls, and all applicable taxes. The only items not included are entrance fees to monuments, lunch, and gratuities, which remain at your discretion.
Is there a dress code for visiting the Vatican or other churches?
Yes, many religious sites in Italy, including St. Peters Basilica and the Vatican Museums, enforce a strict dress code. Both men and women must have their shoulders and knees covered to enter. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing a light scarf or shawl if you are wearing sleeveless tops or shorts during the summer months.
